An oyster shell and antique watch back plate fused together to create a unique pendant. It reminds us of the phrase: Tide and time wait for no man.

Have you heard the expression, “Time and tide wait for no man.”

That is what this pendant is themed around. I had an old pocket watch that I made a steampunk ring from. But I had lots of bits left over. Including this amazing back plate.

The represents the time. It is from the Elgin National Watch Company in the USA. The serial number is 13118057. You can trace it through them back to 1908, not 1897 as  I say in my tiktok.

The tide comes from an oyster shell I found washed up on Hayling Island beach. I have put resin on the back of it to stabilise it. It was a bit flaky from all the erosion on the beach.

The back plate I have cut into the inside of the shell.

This is totally unique, just like you.
