Amathyst and walnut french hair pin.

This is a totally unique hand crafted french hair pin. The pin is made from walnut and carved by hand to add detail. Then I have polished a piece of amethyst which has incredible colours in it. The shape of the stone is largely how I brought it and the polishing has really brought out the colours, they really pop and the light shines through parts of it as well.

Amethyst is known for its strong, calming, and protective metaphysical properties. It has a Mohs hardness of 7, making it durable for jewelry. Known for reducing stress, improving sleep, and promoting mental clarity, it is associated with the third eye and crown chakras. Walnut wood is deeply associated with wisdom, mental clarity, protection, and deep grounding, often symbolizing the connection between the brain (intellect) and the heart. It is used for clearing negative energy, aiding in transitions (life/death cycles), and fostering focus, often linked to theelemental energies of water and the energy of Jupiter. Together these two materials make a formidable pair.
